The Harrison would like to thank you for you standard of accommodation, as it was world class, the accommodation was so clean the staff were pleasant and the activities for children were excellent.

Hola
I would like to thank you for the hospitality at the Viva Mallorca during our recent stay. This was our second trip having stayed with you at a similar time last year at the same hotel. As was the experience last year, the standards of service were excellent, everyone we met was extremely professional, the cleanliness was of a very high standard and the entertainment for the children was very well managed.
The hotel had made a number of improvements from last year with the new children’s pool, new football / tennis area and an improved children’s play area. If the kids are happy then we all enjoy ourselves that little bit more!!!!
Two minor points for further improvement:
1. Could you please add a few English Channels to the TV selection most importantly an English cartoons channel and possibly CBBC (Children’s BBC) or CITV any way a couple of English language children’s channels. Also may be Sky Sports News or Euro Sport in English and another News Channel. This would just allow a little more relaxation in the rooms and especially keeping the Children entertained whilst everyone is getting ready to go out, etc. I did make this point last year so I don’t know if it is too expensive or difficult to arrange ?
2. May be add a British Entertainer into the mix to provide a better balance to the team.
Any way it was an excellent break if only the weather had been a little better, but I don’t think this is within your powers ????

we went for a week half board in aug 2006 just me and my husband.
the rooms were very spacious and clean although we did have a slight ant problem which was sorted immediatly, maids came in 6 days out of the 7 we were there.
food was very good wide choice to choose from and catered for all nationalities and food preferences also dining area was very well run always clearing plates away and filling up glasses very clean.
entertainment was very good had childrens entertainment first part of the evening and afterwards had adult themed nights that children could also watch as not inappropriate.
can picafort itself is smaller than i would have expected english pubs and the usual tourist shops beach not very far walk from hotel though it is mostly uphill on way back so no good for older people with walking difficulties.
we enjoyed it so much we are going back all inclusive with the kids this time for 2 weeks and as they have a childs club too its a holiday for the whole family.

Just wanted to say we had a fantastic week at Viva Mallorca. Its our second visit to the hotel and found it had improved even more this time. The addition of the childrens water slides and the adults only pool/lounging area were great.
It goes without saying that the quality of the accommodation is excellent and the food of a very high standard. However, I wanted to say a personal thanks to the entertainment staff at the hotel – Peter, Sina, Casper, Lallie, Karen and Johann. They do an excellent job entertaining the children and are a great asset to the hotel. Can you please ensure this is passed onto the management of the hotel.

I read loads of reviews before I chose a holiday and couldn’t believe the differences in them so I’ll keep it simple. We knew this hotel as the Holiday Village Viva and stayed all inclusive for 7 nights.
Food: Very good but a bit samey for me as I’m veggie, hubby enjoyed the food especially on the theme nights. Toddler ate well, plenty of pasta with tomato or cheese sauce, fresh bread, cheese etc.
Staff: All worked a lot of hours but were friendly and helpful when asked anything. Most were smiling all the time (expect the catering manager) but he was stressed and obviously took his job very seriously and wanted to keep things moving along.
Cleaniless: I was so impressed how clean everything was, they even mop up the outside pathways then buff them up! The room had maid service 5 times a week and one lady even aranged my daughter’s soft toys in the cot, which we thought was a lovely touch.
First Choice Reps: All very friendly but we didn’t have any problems to sort out so didn’t have much to do with them.
Ca’n Picafort: The holiday village is like a bit of a bubble, all English families staying there but as soon as you step out of the complex there are few English families. It is a popular location for German tourists. One german familiy were a bit suprise we were English and had to ask us to make sure! There are plenty of shops, lovely beaches and a great market to visit once a week.
Entertainment: This is obviously a very personal thing, the entertainment met our needs as we had a 2 year old so we just needed an hour or so entertainment before bed. They have a kids hour, then bingo and finish off with a different act each night. These included the excellent Parrot show, Robbie tribute, Lord of the dance and the reps performing a showcase of songs.

Als Paar ist man im VIVA Mallorca absolut fehl am Platz und es ist aus dem Grund nicht weiterzuempfehlen. Alles ist für und auf Familien eingerichtet, die sich sicherlich auch dort wohlfühlen können. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und sauber, jedoch ist es sehr hellhörig und die Zimmer zur Straße (50% der Anlage) sind laut. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und freundlich. Can Picafort als Ort ist nicht schön.

We stayed at this hotel in August 07 and we had a fantastic holiday. We have two boys aged 13 and 10 who we hardly saw due to the great kids club and excellent facilities. The rooms were very clean and comprising of a lounge, bedroom and bathroom. The food was excellent as was the staff and the service in the whole complex. The guests were a mixture of european which meant that the ” British abroad ” did not spoil it.
Sun lounges were plentiful around the three pools although you did have to put your towels out early ( before 8am ).
The entertainment stopped at about 10.30 pm and all background music was off by 11pm which meant everyone had a good nights sleep in the air conditioned room
The hotel is situated about 10 minutes walk from the beach which has a small but good promonard with lots of shops and restaruants.
I would definately return to this hotel and would highly reccommend it for a family.

Das Hotel liegt ruhig; die großen, zweistöckigen Wohnblöcke gruppieren sich quadratisch um die Poolanlage und um einen schönen Garten. Zum Strand muss man 500 m laufen, im Mai kein Problem. Service und Ausstattung sind ganz hervorragend; nur das Essen und die Animation waren nicht zum jubeln. Gäste: Deutsche, Engländer, einige Skandinavier, keine Russen.

Entferung zum Strand ca. 500 m, zum Naturschutzgebiet 3,0 km, zur “Fußgängerzone” 0,4 km; eigentlich alles ganz gut zu erreichen, vor allem mit dem Fahrrad, – der Verleih im Hotel ist günstiger als im Ort. Der Strand zwischen Can Picafort und Alcudia ist bestimmt einer der 10 besten im ganzen Mittelmeer, lang, feinsandig, blaues Wasser, kein Dreck, supertoll. Hinter der Stadt Arta liegen ganz wunderschöne Berge mit einsamen Wanderwegen, nach Palma kommst Du mit dem Auto (oder Bus 5,50 Euro) sehr gut, 50 Minuten.

Ganz hervorragend in jeder Beziehung. Ich hatte über Neckermann gebucht und als Zimmerwunsch angegeben: Block 3 oder 4, Poolseite, 2. Stock. Genau das Zimmer haben wir bekommen!

Das Frühstücksbuffet war o.k., beim Abendessen kam alles aus Tüten und Großpackungen; wer gastronomische Genüsse erwartet, ist hier falsch. Das Kindergeschrei muss man auch mögen, vor allem in der Hochsaison… Ansonsten angenehme Atmosphäre, sauber, freundliche Bedienung.

Die Poolanlage ist recht schön und wir waren auch drin baden, als es wärmer wurde, übrigens auch im Meer (18°); rundherum wird alles schön gewartet und gesäubert. Das Animationsteam versuchte abends mit 4 Teenie-Hauptdarstellern alle großen Musicals und Shows aufzuführen in der Cocktailbar, die ohnehin recht kühl gestaltet ist, o je.
Die Fitness-Geräte sind schlecht gewartet, das Hallenbad ziemlich klein.
Das Kinderprogramm wurde ganz gut angenommen und vielleicht auch die anderen Angebote, aber wir waren lieber allein unterwegs.

Schöne große, saubere, freunliche Zimmer mit guten Betten und Kitchenette , aber hellhörig, darum hatte ich gleich den 2. Stock gebucht.
Für Mai war das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis o.k.

Wir sind Ende Mai als Paar ohne Kinder für eine Woche ins ViVa Mallorca gefahren. Der Eindruck aus dem Reisekatalog wurde sogar noch übertroffen. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer, sowie der Hotelanlage lässt auch bei kritischen Müttern keinen Grund zur Sorge aufkommen. Die Hellhörigkeit der Zimmer ist zwar am Anfang etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, soll dem erstklassigen Eindruck der Anlage aber nich allzu sehr negativ angelastet werden. Wer einmal unten gewohnt hat, zieht beim nächsten mal hoch!!! Ein Leihwagen ist sehr empfehlenswert, da der Ort sowie die direkte Umgebung des Hotels nicht allzu viel Schönes bieten. (PS: so ein kleiner KIA ist verdammt geländegängig!) Essen und Abendprogramm waren für die 4 Sterne angemessen und ließen sehr wenig Anlass zum Nase rümpfen. Fazit: Sehr schönes Hotel, schöne Insel. Man muss Kinder aber sehr mögen, um sich an den kleinen Rackern nicht stören zu lassen.( Viele vorhanden! )

A fanstastic resort to stay especially for families with young kids aged from 4 years plus. Activitities for kids for both day and evening is second to none. Our child is only 2 and half so he was a bit young to take part in any but the resort has a swing slide play area. We booked the room with the kitchenette and it was very clean, the bathroom had walk in shower, separate lounge and great view to the pool side. The service/staff and entertainment was excellent. Buffet Restaurant was a bit expensive but they served a good range of food. They even had plastic bowls, cups, knives and forks for children and plenty of high chairs.. Have to say the restuarant was well organised. If you prefer to eat out then there are plenty of restaurants outside the hotel (5 minute walk). The resort comprimises of mixed europeans as well as english. There is different entertainment each night finishing at 10.00 and the bar is open till 12:00. I did find the bar a bit expensive 3.65 euros for a pint of beer.
The resort is located about 12-15 minutes walk to the beach. A bit of a walk but this did not bother us that much as spent most of time at the resort poolside. There are three excellent pools including baby pool which are very clean. Sun beds are available from 9:00 am inthe morning so we did not have any problems finding one.
